Should a counselor not fit well into the position to which she or he has been assigned, the director should call the ICEP office. After full discussion it may be decided that the counselor should return to New York City for reassignment, and that a substitution be made in camp. If, in rare instances, a counselor is found unsuited for camp work, the ICEP assumes responsibility for her or his maintenance during the remainder of the stay in the USA. The ICEP office is open seven days a week, 15 hours each day. Camp directors are invited to telephone anytime to discuss problems that may arise.
